What a beautiful day it has turned out to be! Thank you God for another glorious day.
Tomorrow will be the Chrism Mass at St. Mary Cathedral in Gaylord at 11am. The Chrism Mass is one of the most beautiful and significant liturgies of the Church, during the Oil of the Catechumens and the Oil of the Sick are blessed, and the Sacred Chrism is consecrated. A portion of these oils are carried back to each parish for use in the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Anointing of the Sick. Sacred Chrism is also used for the consecration of altars, and the ordination of priests. We hope to see you there!
